Las semillas de chia Bio Biotona proceden de la planta Salvia hispánica, cultivada hace mas de 4000 años en el centro y sur de México por los Aztecas, que ya tenían conocimiento de sus efectos y aplicaciones.La denominación ?chia?, deriva de la palabra grasa en lengua indígena, se explica por el hecho de que la semilla de Chía contiene una gran cantidad (hasta 25%) de ácido alfalinolénico (ALA), un ácido graso omega 3 esencial.La presencia de fibras solubles permite a las semillas absorber hasta 7 veces su volumen en agua.

FORMA DE EMPLEO

Las semillas completas de chia Bio Biotona pueden ser añadidas al pan y a las pastas, al muesli del desayuno, la ensalada del mediodía y de la noche. Molidas en los smoothies y combinadas en jugos de frutas, en leche, yogur o potaje, como se prefiera. Una vez que se añaden al agua forman una sustancia gelatinosa que puede servir de base de numerosas recetas.Limite el uso de semillas de chia a 15-20 g diarios
