La levadura roja de arroz es capaz de inhibir la síntesis del colesterol en nuestro organismo, reduciendo su presencia en sangre. Por lo tanto, está recomendado para personas con colesterol alto, especialmente colesterol LDL, y con niveles de triglicéridos elevados.
